Here are the released minimum required specs for Swtor:

OSWindows XP, Vista/7 CPUAMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.0GHz or better RAMWindows XP: 1.5GB Windows Vista and Windows 7: 2GB PCs using a built-in graphical chipset, 2GB RAM recommended. DVD-ROM8x or better *Minimum of 256MB of on-board RAM and Shader 3.0 or better support.

And here are the specs for my computer:

Windows Vista
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83Hz 1.83 GHz
4GB
64-bit

I asked if the difference in GHz was a big deal, since I'm at 1.83 and the requirement is 2.0… I'm not asking if it will run smoothly on amazing graphics, but as long as I can play with a low amount of lag I'll be fine; even if I have to play with lower graphics.
