First Last Asked: will sony continue "the umd’s'?

im thinking to buy a new psp 3k cause its been stolen last month,but i heard sony will release psp vita
next year,so my point,WILL SONY CONTINUE TO MAKE UMD GAMES FOR PSP 1K-3K?
games like with big titles:god of war,final fantasy,monster hunter etc.
